Cancellation Policy

The Baby Travel Closet Website Policies 1. Reservation & Payment Policy A $25 non-refundable booking deposit is required to reserve baby gear. This deposit is applied toward the final rental balance. Reservations are not confirmed until The Baby Travel Closet verifies item availability, delivery location, rental dates, and payment status. The remaining balance must be paid before delivery. Gear will not be delivered until the rental agreement has been completed and the full balance has been received. 2. Rental Minimum Policy The Baby Travel Closet has a 3-day rental minimum for all orders. Weekly rentals are available and are recommended for families staying several days or longer. Weekly pricing may offer the best value for extended visits, family stays, Airbnb stays, and grandparent hosting. 3. Delivery & Pickup Policy The Baby Travel Closet offers local delivery and pickup within the Huntsville/Madison area. Standard local delivery is typically $20–$35, depending on distance and delivery requirements. Additional fees may apply for extended service areas. Customers must provide a complete delivery address, preferred delivery window, contact number, and any access instructions before delivery. Gear may be delivered to homes, hotels, Airbnbs, short-term rentals, or family residences. If delivery is to a hotel, Airbnb, or gated property, the customer is responsible for making sure The Baby Travel Closet has access at the scheduled delivery and pickup times. 4. Rush Delivery Policy Rush delivery may be available for same-day or under-24-hour requests. A $25 rush delivery fee may apply. Rush orders are subject to inventory availability and delivery schedule capacity. 5. Cancellation & Refund Policy The $25 booking deposit is non-refundable. Cancellations made at least 48 hours before scheduled delivery may receive a refund of any amount paid above the deposit. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before delivery may not be eligible for a refund, because inventory has already been held, cleaned, prepared, and removed from availability for other families. No refunds will be issued once items have been delivered. 6. Late Return Policy All rental items must be available for pickup at the agreed pickup date and time. A $15 per day late return fee may apply for items not returned or available for pickup as scheduled. If the item is not returned and cannot be recovered, the customer may be charged the full replacement cost.
